- Dixie Highway and Pendleton Road. The Dixie Highway has a uniquely high fatality rate for motorists compared to similar roads across the state, due in large part to its lack of medians, left-turn lanes, and poorly lit areas. The intersection at Pendleton Road is no exception.
- Shelbyville Road and Willis Avenue. Located in the St. Matthews area, this intersection features short merge lanes, heavy pedestrian and vehicle traffic, and a substantial problem with speeding. These factors combine to make it uniquely dangerous.
